| When not surveying their kingdom or mingling with their subjects, they can usually be found basking in the sun. Obviously, these are not rural felines (unless out on their country estates); they prefer the comforts of city life and must be within 5 minutes of a 7-11 at all times.

This is one cat with whom flattery will get you everywhere. They want to be told how beautiful they are or how regal and dignified they are at least once a day. They will roll enticingly or continually jump in your lap until you oblige them. This, no doubt, originates from the Abyssibian cats who haven't quite got over being worshipped in ancient Egypt. A Leo cat carries himself (or herself) with great panache; and are known to ooze animal magnetism. Furthermore, being the outgoing cats they are, they'll rub up against almost anyone or anything in the hopes of a friendly chat. This often leads to a long meander home after climbing into the back of someone's pickup for a chat.
