Like a crab, a Cancer cat is tough on the outside, soft and mushy in the inside; so it takes a while to really get to know these felines and for them to open up. You might want to be careful about how you approach them since they suffer from drastic mood swings. Picking one up when they don't feel like it might result in a swift left hook to your head or the dreaded feline death grip to the forearm. If you're lucky, they will ignore your presence when angered. If they want affection they'll let you know with subtle indications like a stroll across your head at 2:00 am or maybe a "nibble" of love on your earlobe. |
| Security is a huge concern in a Cancer cat's life and as a result, they are very territorial and will rarely stray. The most common place to find one is patrolling the front porch. Females of this sign tend to be very maternal and will usually have large litters. Finally, don't bother trying to entertain them with a pathetic piece of string, they prefer to search out more cultured pursuits. |
